The Perfect Kapakapa

You can prepare Kapakapa hot or cold and with cow's, almond, soy or rice milk. There is quite a lot of variance between preparations of vegetable based milks, so make sure you get a good one. Some of the chick pea fortified preparations are particularly good. Kapakapa's richness means it goes well with hot water too.

Preparation (makes two cups):

  • 200mls of milk, heat gently in a pan
  • As the milk is warming, stir in 30mls (1 fluid oz. or two tablespoons) of Kapakapa
  • Froth with a blender, frother or whisk and serve in a pre-warmed cup
